Russell Brand is reportedly in talks to star in the Adam Shankman-directed screen adaptation of Rock of Ages. Supposedly, Russell would be lending his voice to the role of Lonnie, one of the owners of the ’80s rock club, The Bourbon. We’re also hearing that Alec Baldwin could be taking on the role of his partner in crime, Dennis.
Omg! Could you imagine them performing REO Speedwagon’s Can├óΓé¼Γäót Fight This Feeling? Why does such an odd pairing sound so goooood to us?
Russell is a shoe in, if you ask us. He’s got something about him, not sure what it is really, that just screams ROCK GOD!
