Russell Brand is many things, and “yoga addict” is several of them.
We don’t need to remind you of all the many, many, many times we’ve spotted Russell out and about, cavorting around town with his yoga mat.
It turns out, Russell doesn’t only like his yoga mat, he’s also fond of his yoga instructor, Tej Kaur Khalsa.
When he heard Tej was having some trouble with their yoga studio, he knew he had to step up and help his mentor!
An inside source said:
“Russell absolutely adores Tej, and she has become something of a guru to him. They are the best of friends. They meditate together, they hike, they go to vegan restaurants together, and Russell took it very personally when he found out that Tej wasn├óΓé¼Γäót happy at Golden Bridge. Tej told Russell that she wanted to quit teaching at the studio, but claimed they wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót let her out of her contract. That made him spitting mad and he vowed to take action on her behalf!”
So Russell knew what he had to do: stage a walkout!!
Right before their class started on Tuesday, Russell stood up and went to the front of the room and said:
“Golden Bridge is not treating my friend in a respectful manner. After years of dutiful service, they refuse to let her out of her contract. If you├óΓé¼Γäód like to continue to study with her, follow me!”
The class allegedly stood around confused for a moment but when they realized this wasn’t some weird stunt, they all followed!
Even Demi Moore, who was also in the class, joined the walkout!
Golden Bridge, the studio, had a different story, saying:
“Tej quit. She just upped and left. There wasn├óΓé¼Γäót a contract problem though, she just quit. Yes, there was a walkout in class, I didn├óΓé¼Γäót actually know that Russell Brand led it, but he was there and so was Demi Moore. Neither Demi nor Russell have been back since.”
Hmm├óΓé¼┬ª someone’s not telling the whole truth.
We tend not to believe faceless corporations so we’re gonna keep on believing that Russell Brand is a freedom fighter!
Way to fight the power, Russell!!
