Russell Brand Plays With His Sword In New Movie

Russell Brand is all over the place these days and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
Once Russell is done playing it up in Arthur, he will start preparing for his next movie, Hawkwood.
Sources say that Russell has signed on to play the lead in the action comedy about real-life swashbuckling hero, John Hawkwood. As we understand it, Hawkwood was a “morally challenged but gifted swordsman” during the Renaissance.
Nice! A period piece! Now we get to see Russell play a douche in another century!
Sounds like just the kind of movie Russell should be doing. Maybe, if he can handle himself around a sword, Disney will pick him up for the next installment of Pirates.
