Oh no!!! What would Ryan Lochte do???
The Olympic simmer’s parents, Steven and Ileana Lochte have apparently run into some hot water financially and are reportedly losing their home in Port Orange, Florida to foreclosure!
According to legal docs, Ryan’s mom and pops took out a $258,000 loan way back in 2007, which required a monthly payment of just over $1,600. Well the payments stopped coming in February of 2011, and CitiMortage filed a lawsuit the very next year claiming they owed $242,239!
Yikes!!
A judge recently ruled in favor of the bank saying Steven and Ileana have to fork over $304,219.95 AND the title of their home, meaning it’s only a matter of time before it’s put on the public auctioning block.
It’s unclear why Ryan wasn’t able to step in and try to help his parents out with their financial woes, but hopefully he’s able to give them a hand in finding a new home soon!!
