Gleeks, it could be time to head back to William McKinley High School!
Creator of the popular show Glee, Ryan Murphy, has just revealed he thinks it might be time for a reboot! Chatting about the show, which first premiered 17 years ago, on the red carpet of the premiere of his new show, The Shards, on Monday, Ryan told People of the cast:
“Well, I loved them all. I had a great time making that show.”

And he’s also loved how so many generations of TV viewers have continued to find and fall in love with the series over the years — which has got him thinking about what could come next! He dished:
“That show is interesting because it’s come back around. So many young people now watch it. And I’m like, ‘Maybe we should revisit that show.’”
The showrunner continued:
“My nostalgia and love for that show is enough that I’m like, ‘Well, maybe people would like to see a new incarnation of that in some capacity.’ So yeah, I love that show and I loved what it became and what it meant to so many people.”
OMG!
Now, that’s an inneresting idea! We wonder if he’d bring back old stars and characters? Or would this be a totally new story?
If it were up for us, we’d be down to see a few familiar faces return — you know, like Perez Hilton, who made a cameo in the OG series!
What a blast from the past!
