NBC will premiere the anticipated Farrah Fawcett documentary tomorrow, but, in the meantime, a man who claims to have been responsible for the project is suing Ryan O’Neal and others.

The man, Craig Nevius, insists he was pulled from the project and O’Neal “physically threatened him.”

Nevius did work with Fawcett on a prior project, entitled Chasing Farrah, which already has aired. Now, he claims he worked with Fawcett for two years on the current documentary only to be phased out by O’Neal and Farrah’s close friend Alana Stewart by taking “actions to wrongfully interfere with Nevius’s contractual relationship with Ms. Fawcett.”

Nevius says that O’Neal threatened to “kill” him during a telephone call discussing the control of the property and that Stewart informed him Farrah “wasn’t doing well” and wouldn’t sign the agreed upon deal with Nevius.

The lawsuit Nevius filed demands a declaration from the court that he has a binding deal to manage the project. He’s also suing for damages.

Not a good situation. Some people should just leave things alone, especially when they are delicate circumstances like this.

Update: A rep for Ryan and Farrah says, “I am shocked by this type of behavior. Here’s a woman who everyone knows has been ill and to do something like this is horrific. This has been a very difficult time for Ryan O’Neal. When you see something like this you have to question the motives of someone who can be so hurtful during this very sensitive time in a person’s life.”
