When mom’s away, dad will pretend like he’s watching the kids but really head down to San Diego Comic-Con.
Speaking at the Deadpool 2 panel on Sunday, Ryan Reynolds revealed that Blake Lively was overseas shooting a film at the moment, which meant he was put on daddy duty.

Unfortunately for his daughters James and Inez, the actor isn’t doing a great job, as he joked:
“My wife’s been shooting a film overseas so I’ve been having a ton of time to pretend like I’m watching the kids. She’s probably filing [divorce] papers as we speak.”
Ha! (He is joking though, right? We can never be too careful these days…)

Instead of watching his children, Reynolds has apparently been watching The Handmaid’s Tale and embarking on a, as he put it, “weird movie tour.”
He explained:
“Do you ever do those where you watch like every Quentin Tarantino movie? So I’ve been kind of doing that.”
And they say parenting is hard!
