But hey, we’ve gotta say that Ryan Seacrest is a CHAMP for hosting American Idol last night — even if he did have the flu!
He just might’ve gotten everyone else totally sick, too! Yuck!
Ryan actually came close to calling in sick — which would be a first — but ended up toughing it out! Nigel Lythgoe would have stepped in for the heroic host!
Apparently he had a terrible stomach virus! He was throwing up the night before and all day before going through 2 IV bags in just a few hours!
We hope nobody caught it!
He was so sick, though, that we wouldn’t be surprised if they did!
