Sally Yates goes under oath.
As you may remember, the acting attorney general was fired by President Donald Trump after she refused to defend his new immigrant ban targeting seven Muslim-majority nations.
On Monday, the former DOJ member took the stand to testify on her experience regarding the travel ban, Michael Flynn, and Russia’s speculated involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

Yates reiterated her opinion that the travel ban (which she found out about through the media, BTW) was unconstitutional and “unlawful” as it discriminated based on religion:

Regarding Flynn, Yates said she spoke to White House counsel three times about the possibility he could be “essentially blackmailed by the Russians” — to no avail:

When questioned about Russian interference in the election, Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said they certainly succeeded in their efforts to sway the results:
