Sandra Bernhard apparently isn’t a fan of the comedic stylingz of Kathy Griffin, and recently spoke out against her – as well as one of the more frequent subject of the comedienne’s sets – the Kardashian family!
She explains:
“I’ve never been a fan of Kathy Griffin — you know that. Every time she sees me, she hides. If I saw her, I would tell her to find a new angle. Just to say someone is stupid, that’s not crafting an idea. I think things through. I absorb culture and put it out in layers. You know what’s funny, I was standing outside the Gansevoort Park Hotel looking at the sky and thinking the Kardashians live here. I mean, what do they do when they are with a man? Do they just sit there and say, ‘I think you’re so hot?’ Do they touch them? Do they go straight for the genitals? Is it really that sexual? Do they just do that for TV? At the end of the day they just plug them in to recharge them. And then they wake up in the morning and go ‘ah!'”
Ah! Well, with all due respect, we think Kathy’s comedy is a little more than just calling people stupid!
Variety is the spice of life! Even if that variety includes the Kardashians!
