Uh oh! Sandra Lee and Ben Youcef are dunzo!
On Tuesday, the TV chef’s publicist Jennifer Abel informed multiple outlets that after five years together, she and Ben have called it quits! No details about the reason have been disclosed at this time.
What we do know, however, is how head over heels she was for him in their five-year relationship. The pair first began dating in 2021 before ultimately getting engaged soon after. In 2024, Sandra told Us Weekly:
“Meeting Ben was incredible. It was the perfect intersection of timing and chemistry.”

She revealed that prior to striking up a relationship with Ben, she “hadn’t been intimate in years and years.”
“I literally felt like a virgin at 55, and I just didn’t want to get involved again. He finally kissed me, and I stood there stone-still. He kept his lips on mine, and my mind just went blank. I still didn’t kiss him back.”
She went on at the time:
“He waited and persisted, and here we are. My chemistry with Ben is something that I’ve never had before. It’s mental, it’s emotional, and it’s a connection that I can’t even describe. When he kisses me, my mind goes blank. It’s the only time I can meditate, which is why I love kissing him.”
Prior to her relationship with Ben, Sandra was with former New York governor Andrew Cuomo for a decade. This split must be particularly heartbreaking for her.
