Sarah Hyland and Nina Dobrev were welcome presences on the Elle Women in Television red carpet in LA on Wednesday, though they took different approaches to their outfits.

While Nina was rather formal in a black and white Antonio Berardi gown with floral details, Sarah was flirty and fun in a short Zimmerman frock with fringed trim.
Both styles worked, though!
And in case you were wondering about their shoes, the former Vampire Diaries star wore Tamara Mellon pumps and the Modern Family actress chose Giuseppe Zanotti strappy heels.
On a final note, we have to say Sarah’s top bun was really cute, but we wish Nina had done something more exciting with her hair than just leaving it down.
Might be time for a haircut!
