Doing her bridesmaid duties!
Sarah Jessica Parker took her turn at playing a semi-assistant at her former assistant Melinda Relyea‘s wedding over the weekend!
The actress was one of the bridesmaids who witnessed Melinda tie the knot with James Kearns in Greenwich, Connecticut, naturally, while hubby Matthew Broderick served as an usher. How WASP-y of them!
As Carrie, SJP may have worn something truly ostentatious and maybe even a bit ridiculous to a wedding, but fashions were far more toned down at these nuptials as Sarah donned a simple deep fuchsia strapless gown for the occasion.
Sarah and Melinda have known each other for years, with Melinda serving as an assistant to the actress on several movies, including Failure to Launch and Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Isn’t that precious?
SJP even posted several lovely photos of the event on her Instagram, and wrote:
