UPDATE 11:15 A.M. EST: Turns out, Sarah’s bestie does have her vote!
After sounding kind of vague about whether or not she will endorse Cynthia, the actress took to Instagram on Thursday to make it abundantly clear that her friend and former costar has her support!
She posted in a caption:

Will Sarah Jessica Parker be voting for Cynthia Nixon come November??
We’re not so sure. While SJP’s Carrie Bradshaw may’ve done ANYTHING for Miz Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes on Sex & The City, it seems that the 53-year-old industry vet isn’t all in when comes to her pal’s gubernatorial campaign.

While speaking with an outlet about Cynthia’s current bid for Governor of New York, the Divorce actress stopped just short of endorsing the Tony winner. Here’s EXACTLY what Sarah Jessica said:
“Cynthia has been my friend and colleague since we were little girls. I look forward to talking to her about her New York state gubernatorial bid.”
Way to keep is vague, girl!
Still, we doubt Nixon is bothered by Parker’s lack of endorsement, as she already stated that she’s received “love, support and excitement” from her SATC peers regarding her political debut. Both Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis have already commented on Cynthia’s run on Twitter.
On the support she’s received from her former coworkers, the governor hopeful told People:
“I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve received from my Sex and the City community. We worked on an incredible series for many years together, and my colleagues’ ongoing support for my years of activism, and now my campaign, means a lot to me.”
We bet! It probably helps that Nixon stayed (relatively) neutral in the SATC3 beef between Cattrall and Parker.
Fingers crossed all the ladies reunite for one of Cynthia’s election rallies!!
