Sarah Jessica Parker Will Host Children's Hospital Charity Event

Sarah Jessica Parker will guest host a charity event at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Harry Connick Jr. will be performing at the event.
Ann Lurie, who the hospital is named after, said:

“The goal of the event is to celebrate the completion of the state-of-the-art, 23-story building and to raise an additional $5 million for its fundraising campaign.
Philanthropy is the cornerstone of this endeavor, and when donors see the unique and healing elements of this facility, I hope that they will be as amazed and proud as I am to know they played such a vital role in creating it.”

U may be wondering… what do you have to do to get a hospital named after you?
Not much, just donate $100 million to the hospital.
Lurie continued:

“Those who are joining us at the Gala are individuals who care deeply about the health and well-being of children.
Together, we have helped build a child-friendly facility that is designed to increase patient safety, to accommodate new technology and to make care more efficient for Chicago├óΓé¼Γäós children and their families.”

Seeing as how we’re sure Sarah Jessica Parker is a fan of the well-being of children, we’re sure she’ll make a great host.
