Sarah McLachlan just released the first music video from her new album Shine On, and we’re totally in love with it!

Not only is Sarah’s Monsters super emotional, but the animated short to go along with it is just too cute for words.
Sarah herself had nothing but positive things to say about her choice to go with a more child-like styling, saying:

“For my single Monsters I chose to go with an animated video because the kids really love this song and I wanted to keep it in that whimsical childlike world so animation seemed like the best approach”
