Sarah Michelle Gellar Escapes Scary Hotel Fire!

This is so terrifying!!

While in Paris promoting her new movie Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come, Sarah Michelle Gellar was staying at the Bristol Hotel when a fire broke out. Per TMZ, there was a fire in the kitchen that caused all 400 guests of the hotel and all staff to have to evacuate. OMG!

Luckily, in a statement to Entertainment Weekly, a rep for the hotel confirmed that all the guests and staff were evacuated successfully and no one was injured. But how scary!

The hotel’s rep said the fire was contained and extinguished, and confirmed “the hotel, along with all of its outlets, with the exception of 114 Faubourg, has now reopened.” It looks like another star of the film, Kathryn Newton, was also staying at the hotel according to her recent Instagram post. But nobody has posted about the fire.

We’re glad to hear everyone was alright, including SMG! Not what you want to happen while you’re trying to rest in your hotel — especially if you’re a celeb who’s getting pushed out onto the streets!
