Jason Lewis is making a surprising career move!
ICYMI, the Sex & the City alum shocked fans after he returned to social media after three years of silence! Everyone was immediately excited — he was hinting at some pretty big things. And you won’t BELIEVE what he got up to during his hiatus!
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, the Smith Jerrod portrayer said he spent all this time in Costa Rica learning Spanish — and writing a NINE BOOK SERIES! Yes, nine!! Wow! He told the outlet sometimes he’d wake up at 4 a.m. just to get in the creative headspace:
“I do my thing and walk the beach or run the beach if the surf isn’t good yet and then have my coffee and settle in and get to the desk and have a session.”

But what are these books even going to be about?
He describes his books as a fantasy epic series, broken into three separate trilogies. The books are going to explore themes of themes of power, agency, tyranny, and redemption. He said the books are more similar to Lord of The Rings, and dive into a “hard magic” system based around physics. But don’t worry, you don’t need to understand physics — he said it himself:
“It’s not a lecture on physics. It’s magic.”
Ooh!!
As of right now, Jason hasn’t nailed down a release date or specific publisher, but he says he’s working on it. Reactions to this career move, Perezcious readers?? Will U be reading his books?
