Remember mega ska band Save Ferris from the 90s???!
Well, they’re making their big comeback… except lead singer Monique Powell allegedly forgot to invite the rest of her bandmates to the reunion show at the OC Fair scheduled for July 27.
Oh, she went there!!
Now, her former bandmates want their justice and considering they apparently NEVER approved or were even contacted about the show, we don’t blame them!!!
Band members Brian Mashburn, Eric Zamora, Bill Uechi, Brian Williams, and Evan Kilbourne are so furious that they’ve filed a lawsuit against the rogue rocker for unspecified damages for false promotion as well as insisting the judge ban her from using the Save Ferris title EVER again.
But what does sneaky, sneaky Monique have to say for herself??
The rebellious musician said:
“While I had hoped this could be a reunion of sorts with all, or some, of my former SF band members, unfortunately that isn’t the way it looks to be turning out.”
Well, there will be a reunion, but it’s going to be in the courtroom instead of on the stage! LOLz!
YUP! It’s definitely not going to be the solo love fest Monique supposedly envisioned!!!
Sorry gurl, but deception and greed are NEVER a cute look.
Best get that pretty little skirt suit ready because you’re going to need it!
