Another Scandal scandal? We almost don’t believe it!
Troubled actor Columbus Short was recently shown the door at ABC‘s Scandal after allegedly threatening to kill his wife during a horrible domestic dispute, but today rumors started circulating that his part was actually recast!
Several news sites swore that the character Harrison Wright would live on, that the role would be given to actor Eric West!
Well, they’re called rumors for a reason!!!
And Shonda Rhimes flat out squashed ’em like a bug. The series creator tweeted:
I've never heard of Eric West. Harrison is not being recast EVER. How about reporters CHECK THEIR SOURCES before running with a story?

Ouch! That’s a cold, hard, put down!
One of the sites that swung at this rumor and totally missed now says their mistake was the result of an “elaborate hoax.”
Either way, it’s fitting that Kerry Washington‘s hit show offers more behind the scenes scandals than anything else on TV!
