Scarlett Johansson Says Her Convenient Engagement News Was Just Good Luck!

Scarlett Johansson is a pretty private person for a movie star- usually.

So when she announced her engagement to Romain Dauriac, it got some people wondering- was the timing planned out on purpose?

The news certainly got ScarJo some extra attention just before the TIFF premiere of her new movie Under The Skin. Scarlett admits the timing was convenient. She says:

“My friend was like ‘congrats on timing,’ … things work out the way they do, maybe it’s better just to get it out the way.”

Things work out sometimes, it’s serendipity! Besides, it’s not like ScarJo ever STOPS working long enough to not be promoting a new movie!
