Scientists Kill World's Oldest Creature! Whoops!

Back in 2006, scientists discovered a clam.
Normally not very newsworthy.
But this clam was special, Ming the clam was originally thought to be 405-years-old├óΓé¼┬ª that’s insane!
What’s crazier is that Ming was discovered to actually be 507-years-old├óΓé¼┬ª that made Ming the oldest living creature ever!!
That means the clam was born around 1499!!!
That’s freakin’ ridiculous!
What’s more ridiculous is the fact that Ming was killed when researchers opened him up!
They wanted to see how truly old it was and so they opened him up, killing him in the process.
That is the stupidest thing we’ve ever heard.
Congrats, humanity. You’ve found then killed the oldest living creature on the planet.
Shame.
