Leaked Scott Rudin Emails Making Offensive Jokes About President Obama Spur Him To Finally Apologize! But Did He Mention Angelina Jolie At All??

no title
Scott Rudin’s face must be redder than an apple floating on a sea of ketchup. That’s a saying, right? LOLz!
We previously mentioned he’s found himself in some hot water after the big Sony hack leaked email correspondence between him and Sony exec Amy Pascal.
In an embarrassing back and forth about President Obama, Amy asks Scott:

“What should I ask the president at this stupid Jeffrey breakfast?”

She’s referring to Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks Animation head, and a breakfast he held for the president, since Jeffrey’s a HUGE Democratic donor.
Rudin and Pascal’s back and forth went a little something like this:

Rudin: “Would he like to finance some movies.”
Pascal: “I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?”
Rudin: “12 YEARS.”
Pascal: “Or the butler. Or think like a man?”
Rudin: “Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart.”

So yeah… that’s a pretty embarrassing back and forth they had.

Being outed as a Jolie hater wasn’t enough to get Rudin to apologize, but these seemingly racial remarks against The President of the United States of America??
Yeah, that did the trick! Rudin apologized, saying:

“Private emails between friends and colleagues written in haste and without much thought or sensitivity, even when the content of them is meant to be in jest, can result in offense where none was intended. I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and not funny at all. To anybody I’ve offended, I’m profoundly and deeply sorry, and I regret and apologize for any injury they might have caused.”

Pascal, presumably following Rudin’s lead, also apologized, saying:

“The content of my emails to Scott were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am.
Although this was a private communication that was stolen, I accept full responsibility for what I wrote and apologize to everyone who was offended.”

This just proves how free and incredible America really is.
You can say some super questionably racial stuff about your President and not get “black-bagged” and dragged away to some secret CIA basement of pain.
We’re realllllllly innerested to see if Obama comments on the emails! Also, notice Rudin didn’t mention a single thing about a certain “minimally talented spoiled brat,” so we guess Angie’s formal apology has yet to come.
