Kimberly-Clark is revolutionizing the T.P. industry!
The paper goods makers are introducing Scott Naturals Tube-Free toilet paper, which will be sold at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in the Northeast on Monday. And if sales take off, the brand will be sold nationally and globally.
It’s even rumored that they will adapt the technology to paper towels!
The product may not have the perfectly round holes that tubes provide, but they do fit in the designated spindles. And because no glue is used, every piece of toilet paper will be useable!
In the United States, 17 billion toilet paper tubes are made every year and account for 160 million pounds of trash.
“We found a way to bring innovation to a category as mature as bath tissue,” said Doug Daniels, brand manager at Kimberly-Clark.
If it helps the environment, we’re all in!
