As we mentioned earlier this week, the creator of a hit reality TV show in Turkey was stating that Ryan Seacrest‘s new show, Momma’s Boy, was stolen from his idea.
According to Luftu Murat Uckardesler, the Seacrest show “willfully appropriated” the format of his popular Perfect Bride which debuted in 2004.
Uckardesler was seeking to bar Seacrest’s show from TV due to copyright and trademark infringement.
But, now reports are that the charges against Seacrest have been dropped.
Seacrest’s Momma’s Boys was able to premiere on December 16th after judge George Daniels said the producers had waited much too long to file their case.
Good news for Ryan!
