Mikayla Matthews and Demi Engemann are not here for anything Whitney Leavitt had to say in her first podcast interview this week!
During an appearance on The Squeeze podcast on Wednesday, the 31-year-old content creator addressed several topics about what happened in the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, including her beef with Demi. Whitney touched on her co-star’s claims that she posted that viral NICU dance video “for clout,” the Fruity Pebbles incident, and more!
When it came to the cereal drama, the mom of three insisted she told Demi ahead of time about her plans to gift her a box full of Fruity Pebbles. See, that was a reference to a story her castmate shared about her and her husband Bret’s sex life off-camera. Considering Demi did not bring up the salacious story herself, she obviously never intended for it to become a storyline on the show. However, Whitney spilled the tea for her anyway on camera. She then gave Demi the cereal present.

Understandably, Demi was very upset with her for making light of “something that was completely intimate and off the table.” Whitney, on the other hand. She did not like getting called out from her prank present! Whitney became mad at Demi for being angry at her and tried to act like the victim. In reality, the person who should have been hurt by the situation most was Demi! But Whitney insisted on the podcast that she only became “upset” because she gave her a heads up about the gift, and she “felt sabotaged” when Demi acted “offended.” Watch the episode (below):
Who is telling the truth? Who knows! If you ask Mikayla, the entire podcast episode was just another example of Whitney not taking accountability for her actions! She took to TikTok hours after the interview dropped on Wednesday to share her reaction. In the video, as Mikayla mouths the words “Thank God finally,” text on the screen reads:
“They’re finally going to take accountability for their actions.”
Not so fast! LOLz! The video then cuts to Mikayla saying, “What the f**k,” when these words pop up:
“Listens to them continue to play the victim.”
We all know who she is talking about! Mikayla never fails when it comes to throwing shade at Whitney! Damn! She added in the caption:
“I really said HOLD ON REWIND AM I HEARING THIS CORRECTLY”

What does the rest of MomTok have to say? Well, most have not responded… yet. Demi has not responded to the claims in the interview, including sharing her side of what happened with the Fruity Pebbles debacle! However, she did acknowledge the latest drama in the comments section of Mikayla’s video! She wrote:
“Hahahaha comedic relief needed this thank you!!”
She then posted a video to her own TikTok account of her saying she is “trying to sit here mute as f**k” when it comes to what Whitney claimed on the podcast. Demi further noted:
“A lot…all i’ll say is one of us knows how to take accountability and the other doesnt. You do the math!”
