Selena Gomez is headed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to help the war-torn country.
The starlet says that her previous trips to Ghana and Chile were EASE her into her humanitarian work.

Selena has been a UNICEF ambassador for two years and her benefit concert at The House of Blues raised $200,000.
So what inspired Selena to go to Africa? Joel Madden!

I was talking to Joel Madden and he works with Unicef and he went to the Congo. He said it was the most intense thing he had ever done in his entire life—and the best thing he had ever done.
