Senator Ted Kennedy was released from Washington Hospital Center Wednesday morning after suffering an episode of seizures at the inaugural luncheon yesterday, Tuesday.
Doctors said that the episode was probably triggered by the fatigue of a long, exciting day.
Kennedy has been receiving various forms of treatment for a brain tumor since diagnosis last year.
Sources say that Kennedy has been in good spirits, even immediately following the incident, telling pal Senator Chris Dodd, “I’ll be OK, I’ll see you later” as he was being wheeled into the ambulance.
His doctors have ordered him to get some rest.
We’re glad to hear he’s okay!
