Oh Shakira, Shakira!
After investing 11 years in his romantic relationship with Shakira, it seems her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la R├â┬║a wants a little more from the singer than fond memories and a box of her old sh*t…
He only wants a cool $100 Million. No big deal. LOLz!
Antonio and Mz. Legendary Hips were more than lovers during their long time together; Antonio was essentially Shakira’s business partner, and in 2004 she apparently asked him to take over the whole Shakira brand.
In a lawsuit that was filed against Shakira on Nov 20th, the entrepreneur alleges that they agreed he:
“would be entitled to a percentage of the profits of the Partnership in exchange for the contribution of his business and marketing knowledge, skills, and expertise.”
AND when they released a joint statement detailing WHY they called it quits, Shakira even states that Antonio would still take care of her business interests…
But in 2011 (according to Antonio) Shakira terminated all dealings with him and did NOT compensate him for helping the singer with her career.
The suit states:
“From that day, [Shakira] has adopted a strategy of trying to rewrite history, which includes denying the existence of a parternship, belittling de la R├â┬║a’s contributions to the Partnership, and mischaracterizing past events. Perhaps having moved on in her personal life, [Shakira] felt that remaining business partners with de la R├â┬║a created difficulties in her new relationship. Whether that is true or not, [Shakira] is not entitled to ignore the fact that, as a business partner, de la R├â┬║a has a financial interest in the Partnership that exists entirely separate and apart from their former romantic relationship.”

Well, we hope this all gets sorted soon, ’cause we’re sure Shakria doesn’t want to deal with this stress when she’s about to pop out a baby boy with her latest lover Gerard Piqu├â┬⌐!!
AND she’s replacing Christina Aguilera on The Voice next season…
