This SUCKS!
The “One Dog Per-Household” Law Shanghai announced in February will start being enforced this Sunday.
The Chinese government is hoping to cut down the crowded city’s dog population, but right now it’s just terrifying loyal dog owners.
Cao Yi started walking her dog early in the morning hoping to avoid trouble both with neighbors and with the authorities over her brown poodle and golden retriever.
“I’m afraid one of the dogs might be taken away,” she said.
The new rule means either finding a new home for one of her pets or registering one with her parents.
