Buffalo

Dedication? Or Ridiculous?

Shareece Wright
Shareece Wright was traveling back to New York from California this week when he missed his connecting flight in Chicago — leaving the Buffalo Bills player at risk of missing voluntary practice the next morning.
When he finally got in touch with an Uber driver willing to accept the long commute, the cornerback rode for eight hours (and sleeping for five of it) to make it back *just* in time for his team meeting at 7 a.m.
And we know you’re wondering, so yes, the fare cost him a pretty penny! $632.08, plus a $300 tip, to be exact!

Wright shared a photo of his receipt on Twitter (below):

In an interview with The John Murphy Show on Wednesday, the athlete said his intention was to “lead by example” both on and off the field — and as a new player on the team, he was willing to do whatever it took to make it to practice.
You can listen to his full account of that thousand-dollar ride HERE!
P.S. — For the record, the Uber driver turned right back around and drove back to Chicago — so we know who the real MVP is here! LOLz!
