Sharon’s decision to skip the party is completely understandable to us.
During a recent interview, Sharon Osbourne opened up about missing Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel following Whitney Houston’s death.
Here’s what she had to say about it:
“I watched the Grammys last night. I didn’t go to the Clive Davis party.”
“I do not know how people could have gone to the party knowing that Whitney was still in that building dead.”
“And just the sorrow. I just couldn’t. There was no way I could go drink and eat and be social. For me it wasn’t right.”
We 100% see where Sharon’s coming from…but we can also understand how people might not want to be alone after hearing such devastating news.
Plus, those who attended the event were treated to Clive Davis’ touching tribute to Whitney, during which he justified not shutting down the party by saying “she loved music and she loved this night that celebrates music.”
