Shaun White went all out for Nina Dobrev’s ring!
Yes, if you didn’t hear, after five years of dating, the couple are finally engaged! Nina and Shaun announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing pictures from the surprise proposal at the Golden Swan restaurant in New York City earlier this month.
A source later told Us Weekly it happened this past weekend! In the photos, the 5-carat diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz that the 38-year-old snowboarder popped the question with is on full display! Check it out (below):

Now, for those looking for more deets about the rock, don’t worry! We got you! Lorel Diamonds jeweler Laura Taylor told Us Weekly on Wednesday that Shaun got Nina an elongated oval-cut diamond that sits on a classic gold band. Wow! And he most likely spent a pretty penny to make sure the ring was perfect! She said:
“Based on the size and quality seen in photos shared online, I would estimate the diamond to [be] … an approximate value of $220,000 to $270,000.”
Damn! Laura continued:
“The choice of elongated oval diamond is both modern and elegant, and it is often a popular choice thanks to its excellent brilliance and elongating effect on the hand.”
