Shepard Smith, one of the original anchors of the Fox News Channel, as just signed a new multi-year deal that will keep him with the network a bit longer.
His new deal locks him in as the channel’s lead news anchor as well as an anchor for FOX Report and Studio B. To give you an idea of how lucrative a deal this is, 3 years ago when he signed a contract, he got $7 million-8 million a year. Obviously, that figure is bound to go up!
Not too shabby for a day’s work!
