Sherri Shepherd Leaving The View After 7 Years! And Is Jenny McCarthy Also Parting Ways With The Show Because Of It?!

First, Barbara Walters and now Sherri Shepherd AND Jenny McCarthy?! What is going on at The View!
According to a source, Sherri and ABC were “too far apart” in their contract negotiations, and thus the two had to part ways!
Meanwhile, Sherri’s rep released this statement on her behalf and confirmed that her time on the show has officially come to a close:

“It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey.”

According to a source of ours close to the show, it appears that producers have even more of a shakeup in mind!
It looks like they’ve been planning on firing Jenny, and get your koosh balls ready, because they’re also aiming to get Rosie O’Donnell to return!
In addition, Jenny sent out the following tweets which would have us believe that she too has officially parted ways with the show:

Wow, what a cray year for this group of ladies! We’ll be excited to see how the makeup of The View changes in the future, but thankfully our sources have also said that Whoopi Goldberg is being asked back!
