Man Punched In The Face On The Subway For Looking Too Much Like Shia LaBeouf...

Unfortunately, this is not one of Shia’s performance art pieces.
Shia LaBeouf has such a notorious image nowadays, that even his doppelg├â┬ñngers are starting to get harassed due to his wild antics.
Just ask Mario Licato — a New York City man who got punched in the face while using the subway all because he looks like the former Disney actor!

Apparently, the 26-year-old was at the Essex and Delancey subway stop on Saturday night when a stranger walked up to him and punched his left eye before saying, “This happened because you look exactly like Shia LaBeouf.”
So not only did this random man attack someone for an idiotic reason like hating a celeb… he even acknowledged that he knew Mario wasn’t even the real Shia!
Luckily, Mario isn’t looking to get even stevens with his aggressor, because he actually took the whole ordeal as a compliment, saying:

On a serious note: Violence is never the answer, and we hope Mario’s attacker is brought to justice.
