Shia LaBeouf and his wife Mia Goth have been secretly separated for about a year, according to a source for TMZ on Tuesday!
The insider dished that this split hasn’t officially resulted in a public divorce yet because it’s not known if either of them have even filed. But what they do know is Shia’s arrest in New Orleans on Tuesday wasn’t just because he was visiting for Mardi Gras. A source for Page Six said the Even Stevens actor actually moved to NOLA after he and Mia broke up so he could be closer to his family who are Creole Cajun.

This split comes after the pair met on the set of Nymphomaniac: Volume II back in 2012. They dated on and off for a few years before tying the knot in 2016 in a livestream. This relationship has been anything but smooth sailing, though. Over the years, they’ve had numerous tumultuous instances — including that infamous 2015 fight in Germany.
This isn’t the first time they’ve headed toward divorce, either. They filed for divorce in 2018, but it seemed like they called it off when they were spotted wearing their wedding rings once again by 2020. They broke up one more time, and Shia temporarily moved on with FKA Twigs before Mia went back one final time in 2021. They were last seen together in public in LA in January of last year.
If these two do divorce this time, they’ll have to come to an agreement over the custody of the one child they share, a daughter born in 2022 named Isabel.
