Shocking new information has come out of court in the murder of Celeste Rivas.
On Monday, the FINAL text messages between the late teen and her accused murderer D4vd were revealed during day five of his preliminary hearing… Unveiling a VERY upset Celeste. According to the THOUSANDS of texts exchanged between the two, reviewed by the Los Angeles Police Department, a few detail Celeste threatening to “kill” the Romantic Homicide singer on April 22, 2025 — just one day before prosecutors believe D4vd stabbed her to death.
Per CBS News, during a testimony, D4vd’s attorney Blair Berk questioned LAPD Detective Corey Farell about a text argument between Celeste and D4vd in which the murdered teen expresses anger over the Here With You singer’s friendship with then-pal Aysia Collins, who had reportedly recently visited his Hollywood Hills home. Celeste reportedly wrote:
“Oh my f**king God, I swear to God, I’ll kill u”
According to TMZ, Celeste went on to threaten to strangle D4vd, mutilate his genitals, lie about him to her father, and to “end” his career and life.

The following day, however, a friendlier tone was struck when D4vd arranged for an Uber to drop Celeste off at his home. At 10:02 p.m. local time, Celeste texted him saying:
“girly pop im almost there open ur door if ur home.”
At 10:10, D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, responded:
“gate open door unlocked”
After that, Celeste went radio silent. However, the 21-year-old continued texting her — possibly in an alleged attempt to create evidence that he didn’t know where she had gone. Remember, this is the day prosecutors believe D4vd murdered her… Beginning at 10:31 p.m., he wrote:
“uber said ur here wya?”
“helloooo”
“bro”
“Celeste”
He went on to ask if Celeste had blocked him, before saying that he was going to call someone named Jen.
It’s so eerie considering by then he could have already murdered the teen, as the prosecution believes…
In addition to the shocking texts revealed in court, Monday proved eventful for another reason… D4vd’s Apple Music account was hacked, leading to the release of a fake song featuring a voice similar to D4vd’s professing his love for Celeste. Titled I DID IT, which first released over the weekend, the track featured cover art of D4vd’s Tesla in the impound lot where Celeste’s dismembered and decomposing remains were discovered. Lyrics describe the teen as “the girl with my name tattooed on her chest” and that her scent remains on him “like cigarettes.” As of Monday, the song has been removed from the music streaming platform.
What a twisted thing for someone to post… ESPECIALLY during the heat of this preliminary hearing. As we know, D4vd was charged in April with first-degree murder with special circumstances, lewd and lascivious acts with an individual under 14 and mutilating a body
