Weeks after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s headline-making wedding reportedly brought together some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports, one of the famous guests is finally spilling a hilarious behind-the-scenes story. And trust us… we did NOT see this one coming!

Simone Biles had fans cracking up over the weekend when she dropped what may be the funniest little piece of wedding gossip yet during an appearance at the Faces of Fitness festival in Chicago on Sunday.
According to a viral TikTok clip shared by @jujonthatbeatz, Biles was asked if she could reveal any gossip from Taylor and Travis’ big day, and her answer instantly sent the crowd into laughter.
As the video perfectly captured:
“Question: Can you give us a piece of gossip from Taylor Swift’s wedding?
Simone Biles: Avril Lavigne stole my sunglasses.”
OMG!!! Seriously?!?!
Apparently, the Olympic legend walked away from the festivities missing one very important accessory… and she believes the Complicated singer accidentally left with her beloved designer shades!
Rather than making a huge deal out of it, Simone seemed to take the whole thing with a great sense of humor. According to the TikTok vid, she even revealed that she reached out to Avril directly on Instagram in hopes of getting the fashionable mix-up sorted out.
As Simone explained, she messaged the rocker:
“…[to] be like, ‘Yo, can I get those YSLs back?’”
Ha!!!
Unfortunately, it sounds like the mission hasn’t exactly been successful… at least not yet.
Biles added:
“Um, but I don’t think she’s seen it yet. Yeah.”
Too funny!
For what it’s worth, Avril Lavigne has not publicly commented on the sunglasses saga, so it’s entirely possible the whole thing was an innocent mix-up after an unforgettable night of celebrating. Still, if those Yves Saint Laurent shades suddenly turn up, we’ll know exactly how they got there!
BTW, beyond serving up unexpected celebrity gossip, Simone’s appearance at the Faces of Fitness festival had a much more serious purpose. Per Us Weekly, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist spent about 25 minutes discussing the importance of mental health in sports, continuing to use her platform to advocate for athletes everywhere. But thanks to one audience question — and one missing pair of YSL sunglasses — she also gave fans a GREAT laugh!
Here’s hoping Avril eventually checks her IG notifications… because Simone would probably like those sunglasses back! LOLz!
