The mommy shamers are back at it on Snooki‘s Instagram!
So, what was it this time??
On Saturday, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation starlet took to the social media platform to upload a new picture (above) of her drinking a glass of red wine while bottle feeding her two-month old son Angelo.

She even captioned the IG shot, writing:
“‘What’s mom life like with 2 kids and a newborn?’ THIS. #MomJuice #ImAGoodMomISwear”
But it wasn’t long before some users criticized the 31-year-old for drinking alcohol as she revealed after Angelo’s birth that she was breastfeeding.
One Instagram account in particular commented:
“You not suppose to drink alcohol if you breastfeeding your baby”
Not one to let the statement slide, Snooki clapped back, writing:
“You’re not a mom. I allow myself to have a few glasses once a week to stay sane with 3 kids. I do what’s necessary to clean my milk for my baby. Let a mawma live and keep being 17.”
The momma of three was the target of more hate in the comments section, with others also blasting her for having a drink:
“This is the most ignorant picture I’ve ever come across!!! Your not getting the mom of the year award!!!”
“stop using your kids as a excuse to drink”
“*if so all that alc is going into your baby’s milk…”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention though, “moderate alcohol consumption” isn’t known to harm a baby, especially if the breastfeeding mother waits two hours before nursing. The CDC does note “exposure to alcohol above moderate levels through breast milk could be damaging to an infant’s development, growth, and sleep patterns.”
Despite some backlash, the reality TV star did receive kudos, too, namely from costar Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese‘s husband, Chris Buckner, and even Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino‘s wife, Lauren Sorrentino.
Among them, other Instagram users supported Snooki’s decision to have a glass of wine, with some posting:
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking while breastfeeding. Do some research people. It is not necessary to even pump and dump. Damn skippy I’ve enjoyed a glass of wine and still nursed my babies and they’re all beautiful, healthy, and smart.?❤️??”
“Sometimes we both need our bottles??”
“Yaaaaas! You go girl! Such talent! Don’t let the haters try to dictate your life… they obviously have no knowledge of the process of breastfeeding ?”
