It’s getting nasty!
The soap actor, Eric Braeden, who Neil Patrick Harris called a “D-bag” on Twitter for bailing out on a HIMYM cameo, has responded to NPH’s outburst and he’s not happy!
The Young & Restless star said:
“I really don├óΓé¼Γäót know who that fellow is. He├óΓé¼Γäós a guy who stars in that series. It├óΓé¼Γäós very unfortunate. First of all, I came back from hip surgery. I was off for three weeks. I├óΓé¼Γäóve doubled my work, 30 to 50 pages a day for me, alone. Everyone knows that I├óΓé¼Γäóm exhausted. I was not about to appear on a show for two lines, because that├óΓé¼Γäós what it amounted to.
I truly enjoyed working there last time. The cast and crew and producers couldn’t have been nicer.
[As for Harris], his choice of words bothered me. It seems to me like a young whippersnapper, having seen himself on a few covers, who├óΓé¼Γäós received a few awards, is now suddenly suffering from the first signs of hubris. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been in the business for 50 years. I├óΓé¼Γäóve seen people come and go and I├óΓé¼Γäóm still here. If he is a worthy adversary, he├óΓé¼Γäód better not cross my path. I will let bygones be bygones.”
“Whippersnapper?” Looks like he’s pulling out the big guns!
Seems like NPH had a change of heart though, because a few hours after his original Twitter outburst, he later tweeted this:
Now I feel bad for the D-bag comment. Don’t know the guy personally. I’m just fiercely protective of our show.
Seems like someone is trying to do a little backtracking.
