Jenny Mollen Reveals The Strain In Jason Biggs Relationship That Weighed On Them Since The BEGINNING!

Jenny Mollen Says She & Jason Biggs Had Strain In Relationship Since The BEGINNING -- Says She Was Always 'Brushed To The Side'

Jenny Mollen is getting honest about the struggles she always faced in her relationship with Jason Biggs.

As you know, the longtime couple called it quits after 18 years of marriage, leaving everyone shocked. The exes haven’t made it clear themselves as to why they decided to call it off, but sources say they’re on “great terms.” One insider suggested it might have to do with Jason completely changing after his weight loss… Hmm.

After their breakup was announced, Jenny hinted in a Substack essay that she felt inadequate and insecure in the relationship. And now she’s echoing that sentiment on What Matters With Liz.

She revealed Wednesday on the podcast, which was reportedly recorded before the split, that since the very beginning of her relationship, there was some strain between them professionally:

“When I got together with Jason, I always had a chip on my shoulder in the beginning because I felt like suddenly I went from being the oldest daughter and I felt like I had my s**t together and then suddenly, I married this guy who in a lot of ways — career wise — totally eclipsed me.”

Jenny said that everyone loved Jason so much, she was often left feeling like his “guest” instead of her own person. She added:

“And it drove me crazy to always just be, like, brushed to the side.”

Aww… How sad. Unfortunately, this is a theme we see in a lot of Hollywood relationships. The dynamic of having differing levels of fame can be a LOT to deal with.

The Girls star went on to compare herself to Prince Harry and his memoir, Spare:

“To be the spare and not the heir. It was like, ‘What is happening?’ I was the spare. I was the American Pie spare. I relate to Harry. That drove me mad and I always had this feeling.”

Sadly, Jenny says growing up with “two narcissist parents” and then marrying the American Pie star, who was “wildly more famous,” ended up causing her a lot of turmoil. She explained it sent her into a bit of a spiral:

“[I felt] that nobody was listening to what I was doing anyway. I could get away with saying whatever the f**k I wanted.”

And this was something she says she dealt with for not just her 18 years of marriage with Jason — but her whole life. So, so sad.

We’re sending so much love to both Jenny and Jason. We hope she’s able to find some peace.
