In a move that shouldn’t be surprising to anyone who followed the recent hacking scandal, Amy Pascal is stepping down as the co-chair of Sony Pictures.
After a slew of leaked e-mails that included racist jokes about President Barack Obama, slamming stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie, and exceptionally poor grammar, Pascal is moving on.

Sony has confirmed Pascal’s departure, though she won’t be leaving the studio entirely.
According to the latest reports, she plans to launch a new production company based out of Sony’s Culver City lot.
As for who will replace Pascal, we’ll just have to wait for Sony’s (probably imminent) announcement.
