Speidi Spinoff

Spencer and Heidi are gonna have to wait – this is a different Speidi spinoff!
Sony is been said to be moving forward with Venom, a Spider-Man spinoff.
The character is based on the nemesis that appeared in Spider-Man 3, played by Topher Grace.
The Venom is a parasite that attaches itself to its host via a gooey and sticky substance and then gives that host some special powers.
Sony can either rehire Topher or have the option of casting a new actor. Insiders speculate that the studio does not feel confident in Grace’s ability to carry a big tentpole film on his own.
Sony already commissioned a draft of the script to be made by Jacob Estes, a writer from the film Mean Creek.
However, they are considering going in a different direction from Estes’s script and are already seeking writers to create a new draft.
Let’s hope the new spinoff doesn’t suck.
