We really hope this rumor isn’t true!
According to Us Weekly, Stana Katic is leaving Castle after eight seasons due to her inability to work with costar and on-screen love Nathan Fillion. Apparently the tension got so bad that Stana would “cry” in her dressing room after bad bouts with Nathan.

The allegations are particularly confusing since Deadline reports Katic left the show due to “budgetary reasons” while the actress herself has remained mum on the deets.
Even though the actor wished S.K. nothing but the best via Twitter after the sad news broke, insiders counter that the good will is nothing but a facade:
“Stana would cry on set because Nathan was such a bully to her. Stana would go in her dressing room and cry. A lot of people who work on the show don’t like Nathan. It’s not just her.”
The source also went on to add that execs ordered Katic and Fillion to seek counseling together which sounds INTENSE. We can’t imagine any work relationship becoming THAT bad!
Luckily for Stana, her rep contends the rumors about N.F. are NOT true. What a relief!
