Your local Starbucks could be getting a lot less crowded!
The coffee titan announced on Thursday that it would block pornography and illegal content on its Wi-Fi networks in stores nationwide starting next year, ensuring that the only *pumping* will be when its Baristas put syrup in your latte.

This was something the company promised to do two years ago, but it’s only now brewed up the proper technical solution. A Starbucks rep explained to NPR:

“We have identified a solution to prevent this content from being viewed within our stores and we will begin introducing it to our U.S. locations in 2019.”

The spokeswoman added that porn viewing at Starbucks “rarely occurs” and “is not, nor has it ever been permitted.” But now, the company has the tech to enforce its policy.
Starbucks’ announcement comes after it was hit with pressure by the Internet-safety advocacy group, Enough Is Enough, to make good on the company’s 2016 pledge that it would update the Wi-Fi in stores with content filters.
Like most Starbucks orders, the wait was a bit longer than expected. It’s unclear exactly how or when the chain will make the dirty content inaccessible.
As for all the porn enthusiasts who will be banished by the Bucks… we hear The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is much less judgmental.
