The great humanitarian / Colbert Report host, Stephen Colbert, will be sharing his wisdom with America’s young through his new book, I Am a Pole (And So Can You!).
Stephie debuted his first attempt at children’s literature to Where the Wild Things Are author Maurice Sendak (watch video below). Sendak described I Am A Pole as ├óΓé¼┼ôterribly ordinary,” and regretfully added “The sad thing is, I like it.├óΓé¼┬¥
In a statement, Colbert said:
“I hope the minutes you and your loved ones spend reading it are as fulfilling as the minutes I spent writing it.”
HAHAHA!
Obvi, it’s commentary on the celebs-writen-children’s-books-trend. A trend, btw, that we fully support!
