Stephen Fry confirmed his engagement to his young love Elliott Spencer, 27, on Twitter today, after The Sun revealed his plans for marriage!

What an exciting announcement for the couple!
The 57-year-old Hobbit star tweeted:
The two lovebirds are roughly 30 years apart, but as they all say, age is just a number!
However, much like his peer Benedict Cumberbatch, it seems as if the actor is sitting on his wedding plans. His assistant revealed Stephen hasn’t set a date yet!

They said:
“Stephen Fry is very happy and proud to say that he has set the wheels in motion for a wedding sometime in the future but no date has been set due to a busy work schedule.”
Ah, no one should let work get in the way of one of the happiest day of their lives!
