Steven Spielberg was enjoying some fun in the sun off the coastline of Italy when some angry beach bums complained to the coastguard.
Apparently his boat was too loud and too close to shore for their leisure.
Not only that, but Gwyneth Paltrow was on board! Oh man! With a party girl like that, you just know something rambunctious is going on! Wink.
When the coastguard came to the scene, he cited the auteur 170 Euros.
Spielberg apologized immediately:
I’m sorry. I’m Steven Spielberg. I didn’t know the rules. It’s only right that I pay.
He offered to pay up then and there, but the coastguard explained he couldn’t accept the money.
The next morning, their office received a fax confirming the fine had been paid.
170 Euros? 170 Euros?!? LOLz!
Yeah, we don’t think Steven lost anything big there. ..except maybe a beach buzz.
