Sting‘s wife, Trudie Styler, is receiving her fair share of flack for the size of her carbon footprint!
Seems the environmentally aware Styler flew her glam squad on a private jet from New York to Washington D.C. to beautify her for last weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner!
Trudie tried to justify her choice to fly private by informing reporters, “Yes, I do take planes. My life is to travel and my life is also to speak out about the horrors of an environment that is being abused at the hands of oil companies.”
Not so fast!
Sting and his wife have already been criticized for having a “carbon footprint estimated at 30 times that of the average UK resident” and only donating 41% of the proceeds of the musician’s benefit concert for the Rainforest Foundation to the charity.
Yikes!
Also, couldn’t Trudie have hired a stylist to tag along???
